Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Caitlin Reynolds

Hello students and families! Welcome to 2nd grade!

My name is Caitlin Reynolds and this will be my first year teaching. I am excited to join the Queen of Martyrs community and meet all my amazing students.

To start off, I would like to tell you a little about myself both personally and professionally. I am originally from the Southside of Chicago; I was raised in the St. Cajetan Parish in West Beverly and was a student there. I am extremely happy to be back teaching somewhere so close to home. I graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA with a degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Early Childhood Special Education and Instructional Strategies. There I student taught in a 2nd grade and preschool classroom, as well as went on to be a long-term substitute in 2nd grade.

I firmly believe that family/teacher communication is vital to create a welcoming space for each student, so I hope to work closely with you to create a community both in and outside of the classroom. With that, your student will be using SeeSaw to celebrate their hard work and as a way to send and receive work if our learning is to go remote. I will also use it as a way to connect and share things with you.

If you need to reach me at anytime, my email is and you will also be able to privately message me on Seesaw as well.

I am looking forward to having a wonderful school year with both you and your child!
