This week second and third graders read, “Balloons Over Broadway” and learned about Tony Sarg, the creator of the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons. Yesterday, the students had the exciting opportunity to design their own balloons. Today, we blew them up and assembled them in class- it was a joy to see their amazement. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🎈🧡

This is a great informal event that gives the parents of prospective students the chance to connect with our Principal and Pastor and hear about all the great things happening at Queen of Martyrs School. Prospective parents are invited to join us in a casual, small group setting while enjoying some coffee and breakfast pastries. Current parents and administration will share their experiences of Queen of Martyrs, provide a tour of the school, and answer any questions that you may have. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSef_JEz8m4QNM-gguuf7cPA3xdgOAfQ3keO7DfP3gaKNJfN7Q/viewform?pli=1

Yesterday 8th graders Dominic Garofalo and Alex Arguello received the 2024 Andrew Smialek Leadership Award at St Rita of Cascia High School. "Andrew Smialek '08 Award winners are outstanding, both academically and in extracurriculars. They show strong involvement in school activities and give evidence of having strength of character, creativity and initiative. They have the ability to influence others, and a sense of responsibility and self-discipline. Smialek Award winners are people who will help enrich the religious fabric of the high school they choose to attend, especially by helping to create a robust sense of community." Congratulations, Alex and Dominic! We are so proud! Go Wildcats!
