Welcome to Queen of Martyrs School...Where Faith and Knowledge Meet!

Established in 1953, at Queen of Martyrs we educate the whole child: mentally, physically and spiritually. In our Preschool through Eighth grade classes, children are engaged in academically challenging curricula. Highlights include the SuperKids Primary Reading Program in the early childhood classrooms, challenging math, language arts, and a rigorous high school prep program in junior high.

Going beyond the standards of public schools has always been a hallmark of Catholic schools. In support of this goal, the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Catholic Schools (OCS) has developed a set of teaching and learning standards for kindergarten through grade 8. Aligned with ACT College Readiness (CRS) strands, Common Core State Standards (CCSS), the OCS K through 8 standards will guide Catholic School instruction in English Language Arts and Mathematics to be broader, deeper and more rigorous than CCSS.

As we direct the implementation of the standards within the culture and context of our school curriculum, we always bear in mind the faith, principles, values and social justice themes inherent in the mission and Catholic Identity of Queen of Martyrs Catholic School. Moreover, morality, respect and camaraderie are nurtured in all that we do as well.

If you wish to learn more about our Queen of Martyrs Catholic School, we welcome you to come and tour Queen of Martyrs. We want you to experience first-hand, what makes Queen of Martyrs extraordinary for so many and for so long.
