With being unable to attend Stations of the Cross, Mrs. Gagner logged into Formed and the class watched Brother Francis’ video of the Stations of the Cross. They read along with the video and recited the prayers for each station. After the video they discussed and reflected on what they saw. Nothing gets in the way of our Wildcats!

Queen of Martyrs FSA will host an Easter Egg Hunt and Pictures with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 30th from 10am-12pm in the Queen of Martyrs Gym.
Pastries, Coffee and Juice will be served. $10 per family. Hope to see you there!
Join St. Gianna Parish & Queen of Martyrs School at the SouthSide Irish Parade on Sunday, March 17th. The Parade begins at 12pm. We will be decorating our float at 11:30am at the corner of 103rd and Western (Next to Walgreens).

Queen of Martyrs students and families raised over $14,000 today for the St. Baldricks Foundation to fight childhood cancer. What an amazing event!

Next Friday, March 22nd is an 11:30am Early Dismissal. Spring Parent Teacher Conferences will be held from 12-3pm. Spring conferences are optional, and no appointments are needed. Extended Day Care will be offered in the morning only on Friday, March 22nd.

Interested in playing football next year at Queen of Martyrs?
A football team for students in Grades 3-5 is being added to our Athletic program with the goal of adding JV and Varsity level teams in the next couple of years.
Students must be in Grades 3-5 and be enrolled at Queen of Martyrs School or the St. Gianna Faith Formation (Religious Education Program) to participate. Families interested in learning more about Queen of Martyrs Football and joining Queen of Martyrs School or the Religious Education Program can complete the following pre registration form to receive additional information.
We ask for families to preregister by Friday, March 15th so that we can purchase new equipment and uniforms.

We had a great time at our Little Wildcats St. Patrick's Day Celebration this morning. Thank you all for packing the place and sharing some Irish cheer.
Little Wildcats will start up again for a Spring session on Wednesday, April 10th from 9-10:15am after a little Easter Break!

Also remember if you don’t want to shave your head, you can be a fundraiser participant and by donating $50 or more you can come to school with green hair and still get a dress down pass☘️!

3rd Grade learned about the importance of voting and being good citizens! As part of the lesson, three students ran for class president. Congratulations to Marissa Lugowski for winning 3rd Grade Class President!
Last week, Mrs. Guerrero’s 3 year old preschool class learned about kindness and gratitude. They learned not only what it means but what it looks like. They painted rocks and wrote kind words on the rocks placing them around the school. They were super excited that their “rock” will make someone’s day!
